| LD-1TRTX Rev 1.2 | Really Fixed! (1/9/2012) The installer that was uploaded late last week (Rev 1.1) was the wrong file, and did not work. This file has been tested by downloading it from this website and installing it on 32 and 64 bit computers running Vista. The installer worked perfectly, installing both the Lazy Dog software and the USBXpress drivers on both systems. There was a problem with the previous installer for LD-1TR and LD-1TX firmware and host software, including the installer which was posted here prior to 1/5/2012 and all the CD's shipped with receivers, transceivers and transmitters since the end of September. The problem would not have affected anyone who had already installed the USBXpress driver for an LD-1 radio, unless the driver had been uninstalled. Anyone who is having driver issues should download and run this new installer. Works correctly with the current HDSDR release (with transmitter support) or Winrad version 1.6.1 (without transmitter support). If HDSDR is installed in "C:\Program Files\HDSDR", the necessary DLLs are placed there. If Winrad is installed in "C:\Program Files\Winrad", the DLL's are placed in that folder; if both HDSDR and Winrad are installed the DLL's are placed in both folders. The installer also places the firmware hex file, "F32x_USB0_Interrupt.hex", in the folder at "C:\Program Files\Lazy Dog Engineering LLC". Update the firmware in your Lazy Dog radio with this hex file, using the bootloader. This update is necessary for correct operation of transceivers, and improves operation of receive-only LD-1B's and LD-1B2's with older firmware and host software. It is identical to the firmware / software on the CD currently being shipped with the LD-1TX and LD-1TR, and is also identical to the firmware installed on all LD-1TR units shipped to date. |
LD-1B Rev 1.4 |
Installer for LD-1B Software and Firmware. Works correctly with both Winrad Version 1.6.1 and HDSDR Version 2.0. If Winrad is installed in C:\Program Files\Winrad, running this installer places the necessary DLLs in that folder. If HDSDR is installed in C:\Program Files\HDSDR, the DLLs are placed in that folder. If both Winrad and HDSDR are installed in those respective folders, the DLLs are placed in both. This update makes the Lazy Dog receivers work correctly with both Winrad and HDSDR (formerly called Winrad HD), and improves it's "feel". |
